In the nose, the 2021 Lot #2 SCR Zinfandel shows off a stunning all-spice Crème Brulée that is accented by the alluring aromatics of toasty cedar, warm baking spices, white pepper and bright cherry intensity intermingled with blueberry & dark Zinberry. On the palate, brambly flavors of dark berries like boysenberry and dark raspberry come forward to reveal soft, evenly spread tannins that warm the palate with further mouthcoating flavors of light cocoa , dark cherry juice , toasty crystallized ginger and Dry Creek Dust. The wine is complex, with bright acidity complimented by deeper notes of nutmeg and mocha.
